Atlantic Development celebrated the groundbreaking of Sycamore Vista – Phases I & II in Camp Verde on October 16th. The event brought together Governor Katie Hobbs as well as representatives from the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH), Town of Camp Verde, Northern Arizona Council of Governments (NACOG), Atlantic Development and Investments, Inc., the Greater Verde Valley Chamber of Commerce, and other community partners.
This affordable housing project, located at 355-357 N. Homestead Parkway, will feature 160 units across two phases. Designed for families, each 80-unit phase was awarded $2 million in federal LIHTCs, $1 million in state LIHTCs, and State Housing Trust Funds with support from the Town of Camp Verde.
Sycamore Vista addresses the regional housing crisis in the Verde Valley and is part of a larger 300+ unit development. With amenities like playgrounds and a Head Start facility, this project aims to positively impact the local community. The development also exceeds LEED Silver standards, demonstrating a strong commitment to green building practices and environmental sustainability.
